We contacted Craymanor to discuss an extension we were considering to our property; from the offset they were courteous, professional, sympathetic to our requirements and very knowledgeable.
In addition to the initial consultations and design, Craymanor also handled the various planning aspects of the project, making it a logical step after permission was granted to engage them to carry out the actual building works.
We were pleased to note that the same level of commitment shown at design stage was carried forward to the building works, with their site team proving reliable, polite and knowledgeable throughout.
During construction we both added to and changed the design significantly, all of which was sympathetically incorporated into the original house together with the new extension and never once got the impression from that that we were being overzealous with our demands.
Craymanor’s ‘can do’ attitude was evident at all levels of the company and since our original works, have subsequently commissioned them on further works including the design and construction of a 6-bay garage.

I wanted to put into writing how delighted we are with the high standard of the work carried out in our new kitchen and living area and how grateful we are for such a great experience throughout.
We weren’t sure what to expect, although we first contacted you based on a recommendation this has been our first experience of building work and we are quite protective of our lovely period property! From start to finish the project has been managed with care and skill. We’ve been so impressed with your expertise in building and structural considerations. It’s meant that each time a problem or obstacle arose it was dealt with swiftly and an elegant cost effective solution applied. We have developed a great trust in your decisions and processes which has minimised the anxiety of decision making all along.
All the people involved have been considerate, competent and lovely to deal with. From Lorraine and Tracy in the office making the cogs turn so smoothly to all the charming people on site.
Highlights include Vince’s magical dust extractor which has meant we can lively comfortably above the work in progress without a speck of dust penetrating the rest of the house. His work has been of such an impressive quality, assisted so ably by Mark.
Other high points include John the electrician digging his van out of a snowdrift in order to get to our house and keep the work on schedule, where others would have found an easy excuse to stay put. Heroic!!! His cheeky humour brightened the mood of other contractors on site which was an unexpected bonus!
Looking around our new kitchen with scrutiny we take great pleasure in examining all the hallmarks of an excellent job; a beautifully configured space, perfectly designed lighting, flawless plastering and neat joinery. A big thank you to all of you, and we look forward to working with you on our next project!
Thank you for your tender in regards to our proposed building works. We are very happy with the service you have provided so far.
Like most lenders, our bank is reluctant to loan us the funds it had promised 12 months ago, so we are carefully considering all options that fit within our budget.
We found your tender competitive and thorough. After weighing up lots of options from other local builders, we have come to the conclusion that we should not select our builder by price alone, but also by the service we feel they can provide. Peppercorn Refurbishment
Time is ticking by and as yet I have not managed to commit to paper my thoughts on the work that you completed for us between November 2005 and July 2006.
It has been my pleasure to show the building to many people over the last few months. The very positive feedback that I have received reinforces my own view that this has been a well planned and well executed project. The standard of finish reflects the quality and commitment of your workforce and in particular your own efforts.
I have been impressed by the professionalism that both you and the architect have shown throughout. What problems we had, have been solved in a good natured and gentlemanly way.
I am extremely grateful for that. For me it has been one of the key hallmarks of the project and has been instrumental in ensuring the quality of the finished product.
Your workforce did you proud. They were always polite and well motivated. I have provided a very small token of our appreciation for the special effort that they contributed. Would you be kind enough to ensure that the envelopes get to their destination.
Finally I could not finish without expressing my sincere thanks to both Lorraine and Tracy for their contribution. Efficient, unerringly polite and helpful, we are very grateful for the way they smoothed the path on numerous occasions.
I am writing to tell you how pleased I am with my new extension. Vince and Ricky have done a brilliant job and the extension is even better than I imagined it would be.
They always worked hard, turned up on time, kept me informed of what was going on and cleaned up really well (better than I would myself!) The whole thing has gone smoothly and at no time have we been inconvenienced, we will miss them now they have finished!
